    Hey Paul, Gen-Y has a pretty cool hitch that can be used as both a fifth wheel and a gooseneck with their Advantage hitch like the part # GY53AV for if your Ford truck has above bed rails or the part # GY79VJ for if you have the Ford OEM puck system. When not used as a fifth wheel hitch you can slide the hitch back and below you'll find a gooseneck hitch ball. What trailers do you have? The Demco you mentioned does not have a similar ability.

When you need to tow a 5th wheel trailer just slide the 5th wheel portion forward and you're ready to tow a 5th wheel trailer.
